Offshore staff
RIO DE JANEIRO -- Petrobras Internacional Braspetro - PIB BV has acquired 50% interest in permit WA-360-P offshore Australia in the North Carnarvon basin for $39 million. The 50% interest is from MEO Australia Ltd. and with water depth of 500 m (1,640 ft).
The farm-in, subject to Australian approval, requires Petrobras to drill an exploration well, Artemis-1 in the second half of 2010.
