Offshore staff
(Asia-Pacific) - The Vietnamese government has approved commerciality for Vietnam block 9-2, which is expected to produce 20,000 b/d by end of next year, says PTT E&P Public Co. Ltd.
The project comprises Ca Ngu Vang and Ca Ong Doi oil and gas fields in block 9-2, some 140 km from Vung Tau province.
PTTEP is a 25% participant in the block through subsidiary PTTEP Hoang Vu Co. Ltd.
Other partners in the project are SOCO Vietnam Ltd. with 25% stake and Petrovietnam E&P Co. with 50% stake.
