STOCKHOLM, Sweden – PA Resources (PAR) says exploration activities are advancing at block H offshore Equatorial Guinea.

Recently, London-based White Rose Energy Ventures acquired an aggregate interest of 48.75% from Atlas Petroleum International and ROC Oil (Equatorial Guinea), thereby becoming technical manager of activities on the block.

PAR, the other partner, says the current period of the production-sharing contract has been extended to February 2013 and an exploration well should be drilled during 2012.

The block contains several prospects and leads, it adds, including Aleta, which will likely be drilled.
