Lime authorized to enter two mid-Norway licenses

Lime Petroleum has secured regulatory approval from the Norwegian authorities to farm into 30% of licenses PL838 and PL838B in the Norwegian Sea.

SINGAPORE – Lime Petroleum has secured regulatory approval from the Norwegian authorities to farm into 30% of licenses PL838 and PL838B in the Norwegian Sea.

Operator PGNiG Upstream Norway has a 40% interest, and Aker BP the remaining 30%. 

Drilling on the Shrek prospect in PL838 started at the end of August. On completion of the deal, Lime will pay DEA certain costs incurred since Jan. 1, 2019.
