Tullow Oil’s 2025-26 drilling campaign at its fields offshore Ghana has concluded.

The last of the seven new completed wells – a water injector on the Jubilee field – came onstream earlier this month. All the previous six wells were Jubilee producers.

Tullow added that 4D seismic data interpretation had paid off in terms of reservoir insights, leading to optimised selection of targets and strong production performance.

Some wells drilled in the previous campaign have also benefited from production improvement actions; other wells have exceeded decline expectations while supported by dual-riser operations.

The company has since secured a rig for its 2027/28 Ghana drilling program, covering up to 10 wells, with the rig due to arrive around the middle of next year.

Identified targets are said to be supported by the 4D seismic and incorporation of the OBN data.

In addition, Tullow is progressing near-term investments such as subsea pumps, further development drilling, monetising gas resources, and an intervention campaign to mature more Jubilee and TEN resources into reserves.

Longer-term near-field and potential infrastructure-led exploration opportunities are being matured in deeper subsurface locations beneath Jubilee and TEN, again using the 4D and OBN data.

In February, the partners signed an agreement to acquire the TEN FPSO, with the deal set to complete at the end of next March.

Tullow intends to maximise operating synergies with the Jubilee field and pursue further cost efficiency measures to support longer-term development of both fields.

Offshore Côte d’Ivoire, Tullow has exited the license containing the producing Espoir field, with state-owned Petroci assuming operatorship.
