Sonangol E&P awards Angola platforms maintenance deal

SPIE Global Services Energy has a five-year contract with Sonangol E&P covering general maintenance of platform facilities at the Block 3/05 oil complex, 200 km offshore Luanda, Angola.

This contract, which started last September, is for the Cobo, Pacassa and Palanca platforms.

SPIE is providing maintenance services for electrical and mechanical equipment, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, turbomachinery, instrumentation and automation systems.

The services are adapted to the needs, with an emphasis on curative and conditional maintenance as opposed to systematic preventive maintenance.
