Chevron produced first oil from the new South N’dola platform in Block 0 offshore Angola, two years after the start of construction.
This is connected via new and existing subsea infrastructure to the nearby Mafumeira offshore complex for processing and export.
This arrangement eliminates the need for dedicated oil and gas processing equipment at South N’dola, the company added.
