Afentra increases holding in two offshore Angola blocks

LONDON — Afentra has completed its acquisition of extra interests in two blocks offshore Angola from Azule Energy.

The deal lifts Afentra's share of Block 3/05 to 30% and in Block 3/05A to 21.33%. Combined gross production from the blocks had been averaging about 23,000 bbl/d.

A light well intervention program that started last year continues with a further 45 interventions planned over two campaigns.
