Wood secures $200M ExxonMobil PNG LNG brownfield services contract

Wood has secured a five-year, $200 million contract to provide construction and maintenance services for ExxonMobil-operated PNG LNG facilities in Papua New Guinea, including the LNG plant, gas conditioning infrastructure, and pipeline network.

Wood will provide construction services to support the ExxonMobil PNG-operated PNG LNG Project in Papua New Guinea.

The five-year, $200 million contract involves brownfield activity at the Hides gas conditioning site, the LNG plant at Caution Bay, and about 700 km of offshore/onshore piplelines and associated well pads and flowlines. 

More than 200 Wood personnel in-country will perform project management, civil and structural construction, piping and mechanical works, electrical and instrumentation services, and scaffolding, lifting and rigging.

Note, in March of this year, Sidara completed the acquisition of Wood.
