Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has ordered Energean to temporarily suspend production and activities at the offshore Energean Power FPSO.

This follows the outbreak of hostilities overnight between Israel and Iran.

Energean has reacted quickly to shut down production and has issued notices to customers buying gas from the offshore Karish Field.

The company added it is maintaining a close dialogue with the Ministry and other relevant parties to facilitate the safe restoration of operations as soon as possible.
