North Sea E&P trends: moderate or better upswing expected
More than $28 billion in investment is expected next year offshore the UK and Norway, Rystad Energy reports.
Aker BP has produced first oil from the Tyrving field, a subsea tieback to the Alvheim FPSO in the Norwegian North Sea.
State-owned Petoro and PGNiG Upstream Norway are the other partners in the development.
Three wells and two new subsea manifolds are connected to existing infrastructure at the East Kameleon satellite field, with production routed from there to the FPSO.
Estimated recoverable resources from Tyrving are about 25 MMboe.
