RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras’ oil production in Brazil declined 1.2% last month to 2.07 MMb/d, mainly due to maintenance operations on the FPSOCidade de Saquarema on the Lula field in the presalt Santos basin.
However, its gas production in country was 2.4% higher at 81 MMcm/d, largely because of increased demand for thermoelectric generation in the state of Amazonas, and the conclusion of maintenance on the Peroá field platform in the Espirito Santo basin.
