P-52 begins production tests

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- Petrobras-operated platform P-52 has begun production operating tests in the Roncador field in the Campos basin, Brazil. The initial volume will be 20,000 b/d of oil, but total capacity of 180,000 b/d is expected to be reached in mid-2008.

When in full operation, the platform will be connected to 18 production and 11 water injector wells.
