First Beatrice workover completed

CALGARY, Canada -- Ithaca Energy has increased stable production from the first workover well on its Beatrice Alpha platform in the UK North Sea by 100%, to 680 b/d of oil.

Operations on the A04 well involved replacement of a downhole pump.

Ithaca has since started its second workover of a five-well campaign on well A23, which was producing around 260 b/d prior to being shut in early October.

The company operates the Beatrice field in partnership with Dyas UK.
