HOUSTON – Exxon Mobil Corp. has suspended some Nigeria production in the wake of an armed attack to an offshore facility, according to reports from Dow Jones. Details from Exxon Mobil are sketchy at this time, but Dow says other sources name the Oso project as the location of the attack.

Exxon Mobil shut in the facility as a precaution and informed the government of the event. No crew count is yet available to answer the question about hostages.
