Offshore staff
CALGARY --Canadian Natural has brought on stream its Olowi field development offshore Gabon.
Following commissioning of the FPSO and conductor-supported platform, first oil flowed on April 28. Further drilling and development activity is in progress
Off Cote d'Ivoire, the company has completed a four-well drilling program to restore production levels at the Espoir development.
In the UK North Sea, Canadian Natural's production from its various fields averaged 42,369 b/d in the first quarter. The company is also participating in a recently spud exploratory well on Deep Banff, a high temperature, high pressure gas prospect. Results are due by mid-year.
