ABERDEEN, UK – DeepTech Oil Services has completed an intervention program for Eni and EGPC at the deepwater Zohr gas field in the Egyptian sector of the Mediterranean Sea.
This involved securing a back-up power recovery system to ensure efficient production from a drill center, while remaining fully isolated from the power feed umbilical network.
According to DeepTech Oil Services managing director Ahmed Soliman: “This solution will allow for an additional 4 MMcf/d of natural gas to be produced from the Zohr field.”
