Apache awards long-term North Sea brownfield contract

ABERDEEN, UK – Apache North Sea has awarded Global E&C a life-of-field brownfield services contract.

This covers the Beryl and Forties field complexes in the UK central North Sea and is the largest award of its type to date in the UK, Global E&C claimed.

Managing director Derek Mitchell said: “It signals a notable shift in how Apache has chosen to engage with the supply chain versus a more traditional contracting model and is a major statement in support of OGUK’s Vision 2035.”

The company has been supporting Apache for over a decade, he added.
