DARLINGTON, UK --CTC Marine Projects is extending its charter agreements with AP Moller-Maersk Group for four multi-role DP2 class vessels.

TheMaersk Recorder, Maersk Responder, Maersk Assister, and Maersk Advancer have been supporting CTC's subsea trenching and flex-lay operations. All four now will be on charter to the company to early 2011, with further one-year options on two vessels until 2013.

Three of the vessels will now be available for 365 days of the year, although theMaersk Advancer will only be available in accordance with advance scheduling needs. "These agreements will strengthen overall security of trenching supply to the market," said CTC's Tony Inglis, "a factor which is particularly important for clients with extended lead time projects."
