MOSCOW – Officials from Gazprom, Edison, and Greece’s DEPA group met last week to discuss the companies’ ongoing cooperation for a proposed new gas pipeline across the Black Sea.

Topics covered included the optimal route for gas exports from Russia to Greece and on to Italy.

The participants expected the cooperation to also aid development of gas transmission capacities in Europe, at the same time reinforcing energy security in southern Europe.
