Cosalt wins North Sea lifting services role

ABERDEEN, UK -- Cosalt Offshore has secured agreements with Acergy to provide all the contractors’ subsea lifting services in the UK and Norwegian North Sea.

The two parties have signed contracts worth up to a total of $4.8 million, with scope to increase the workload over the coming months.

Cosalt’s subsea lifting service includes project management, from storing equipment such as mechanical handling gear and shackles, through stripdown and preparation, and the provision of vessel inspection engineers, and advice and assistance in compliance matters globally.
