The Arabian Oil Co. has found natural gas reserves of 20 bcf in the Gulf of Mexico through exploratory drilling of gas blocks VR70 and VR86. The company produces 20 MMcf/d from its three blocks in the Gulf, and it expects the discovery will reach 40 MMcf/d when new gas production begins in the fall.
