Seismic vessel on second leg of Norway frontier survey

OSLO, Norway – Artemis Atlantic has completed the northern section of a seismic data acquisition over the Nordland IV and V areas.

The Norwegian Parliament tasked the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to commission the survey in order to build knowledge on possible petroleum deposits in the area.

The acquisition is divided into four areas. The aim is to complete one area at a time to limit hindrance to local fisheries activity.

The vessel has since started acquisition over “Area 2.”
