Lukoil commissions Black Sea seismic survey

MOSCOW – Lukoil Overseas has started a 3D seismic acquisition survey over the East Rapsodia and Trident blocks offshore Romania.

CGGVeritas is performing the Black Sea survey, which should be completed by November, and cover up to 2,000 sq km (772 sq mi). The blocks are 60-100 km (37-62 mi) offshore, in water depths ranging from 90-1,000 m (295-3,281 ft).

Lukoil operates the blocks with an 80% interest, in partnership Vanco International.
