Frontier plans 2D survey off Ireland

DUBLIN, Ireland -- Frontier plans a 2D seismic survey over permits 1/08 and 2/08 offshore Ireland in June, says Providence Resources. The blocks are in 2,000-3,000 m (6,562-9,843 ft) water depths off the southwest coast of Ireland.

The M.V.CGG Princess is scheduled to carry out the survey which will entail acquisition of up to 3,000 line km (1,864 mi) of 2D seismic reflection data.
