Offshore staff
OSLO, Norway -- Petrobras International Braspetro BV has contracted SCAN Geophysical ASA to acquire 8,500 km (5,281 mi) of 2D seismic data offshore Portugal.
The survey is under way using SCAN'sM/V Geo Searcher using a 10,000-m (6.2-mi) long MSX gel-filled streamer system and 4,200 cu in source array designed for low-frequency output.
The program is on behalf of a consortium formed with Galp and Partex.
