STAVANGER, Norway – Blueback Reservoir has released version 2.0 of its Earthworks Seismic Inversion plug-in for Petrel. This new version focuses on inversion results analysis and QC.
The Earthworks Seismic Inversion (ESI) plug-in enables use of acoustic impedance data in reservoir modeling workflow. The plug-in is fully integrated with Petrel and uses Petrel native data objects.
With Petrel style functionality for connectivity analysis, seismic correlation, net-to-gross estimation, Blueback says the Petrel user can execute complete inversion workflows built around the seismic inversion technology from Earthworks.
