BERGEN, Norway – Bergen Oilfield Services (BOS) has agreed with the governments of Senegal., Gambia, AGC, Guinea Bissau, and Guinea Conakry to acquire, process, and promote a 2D, long-offset, multi-client seismic data acquisition program offshore West Africa.
The 2011 project expects to cover 15,000 km (9,321 mi) from Senegal to Guinea Conakry. This North West Africa Atlantic Margin (NWAAM) survey looks to provide a data base unconstrained by national boundaries in order to provide a regional geological and geophysical view.
The survey was designed in conjunction with Exploration Geosciences Ltd.
