MASSY, France – Sercel has sold the first consignment of its new GPR300 nodal seabed solution to BGP.

This includes 18,000 nodes for deployment in on a long-term, multi-vessel operation in the Middle East.

The solution, intended for seismic acquisition in shallow water areas down to 300 m (984 ft), was developed with BGP.

It incorporates the QuietSeis digital MEMS sensor. According to Sercel, the low-noise performance helps to create high-fidelity datasets for high-precision subsurface imaging.
