SAN DONATO MILANESE, Italy – Eni Indonesia has signed a memorandum of understanding with SKK Migas to co-operate on exploration activities in Indonesia.
The MoU defines the framework for further collaboration in the processing and interpretation of seismic data owned by the Republic of Indonesia, using Eni’s proprietary technologies and facilities.
These include the Green Data Centre HPC4 and HPC5 supercomputers in Ferrera Erbognone, Italy, and seismic imaging algorithms.
In April Eni Indonesia started gas production from the deepwater Merakes field off East Kalimantan, and recently announced positive results from the Maha-2 appraisal well in the offshore West Ganal block.
