LIMASSOL, Cyprus – Seabird Exploration Plc has won an ocean bottom node (OBN) source contract in the North Sea.
Mobilization is expected to start this month. The company will use the Eagle Explorer for the short duration contract.
The next planned work for the Eagle Explorer is a source job in South America. Mobilization for this survey has been delayed to 4Q due to COVID-19.
As part of the asset-light strategy and renewal process, the company has decided to sell the Harrier Explorer for recycling. The sale is expected to be completed in early 3Q.
