BERGEN, Norway – Reliance Industries has contracted Shearwater GeoServices to perform a 3D broadband marine seismic survey in the Bay of Bengal off eastern India.

The program, due to start this summer, will cover 1,500 sq km (579 sq mi) of block KG-UDWHP-2018/1 in the Krishna-Godavari basin.

Shearwater’s Polar Duchess will acquire the data using a dual-source design.
