Application filed for deepwater Hammerhead oil project offshore Guyana

Exxon Mobil has filed an application for the environmental permit for the Hammerhead development in the offshore Stabroek Block with Guyana's Environmental Protection Agency, partner Hess said in a results statement.

Assuming government and regulatory approval and project sanctioning, the development should produce first oil in 2029, with a production capacity in the range 120,000 bbl/d to 180,000 bbl/d.
