Calder pumps to assist flow from North Sea Nova field

ASKER, Norway – Rosenberg WorleyParsons AS has contracted PG Flow Solutions subsidiary Calder to supply an MEG pump package for Wintershall’s Nova tieback to Gjøa in the North Sea.

The Norwegian EPCI contractor is responsible for the associated topsides module and upgrade on the Gjøa semisubmersible platform.

Wintershall has opted for two subsea modules tied back to the platform, which is operated byNeptune Energy.

Calder’s MEG (monoethylene glycol) package will comprise high pressure MEG subsea injection, MEG, MEG topsides injection and MEG booster return pumps, plus spare parts for installation, commissioning and start-up.

The company will engineer, assemble, and skid mount the package at its plant in Worcester, UK, for delivery to Rosenberg WorleyParson’s yard in Stavanger during 1Q 2019.
