Offshore staff

OSLO, Norway – AF Gruppen, in partnership with Heerema Marine Contractors, will remove and dispose of an unnamed platform in the UK North Sea.

The contract includes engineering, preparation, removal and disposal of structures with a total weight of around 45,000 tons.

Engineering will start immediately, with removal and disposal set to start from 2020.

Earlier this month the same consortium won a contract fromFairfield Betula to perform similar duties for the 20,000-metric ton Dunlin A platform in the UK northern North Sea.
