Sapura providing, installing platforms for two offshore Mexico projects

Hokchi Energy has awarded Sapura Energy’s Mexican subsidiary an EPCIC contract for the Hokchi field development in the Mexican sector of the Gulf of Mexico.

SERI KEMBANGAN, MalaysiaHokchi Energy has awarded Sapura Energy’s Mexican subsidiary an EPCIC contract for the Hokchi field development in the Mexican sector of the Gulf of Mexico.

The work scope includes fabrication and installation of a central wellhead platform and a satellite platform that will be connected to the Hokchi Paraiso onshore processing facility.

Eni Mexico has contracted Sapura to perform engineering, transport, construction, installation, and pre-commissioning of the sea line and onshore pipeline forMexico’s Offshore Block Area 1 development.

In addition, Sapura will provide fiber optic cabling and will also transport and install the Mizton wellhead platform in a water depth of around 40 m (131 ft).
