ConocoPhillips has contracted Pt. McDermott Indonesia to fabricate the North Belut central processing platform.

SINGAPORE –ConocoPhillips has contracted Pt. McDermott Indonesia to fabricate the North Belut central processing platform. McDermott will procure tertiary steel, perform construction engineering, and fabricate the eight-leg, 4,900 metric ton (5,401 ton) jacket plus piling.
Fabrication is scheduled for McDermott's Batam Island facility and load-out is anticipated by 2Q 2008.
North Belut field is in Block B of the Indonesian sector of the Natuna Sea, approximately 60 km (37 mi) east-northeast of theBelanak FPSO installed in the Belanak field.
