Coastal Energy has installed the Bua Bua platform in the Gulf of Thailand.

BANGKOK, Thailand -- Coastal Energy has installed the Bua Bua platform in the Gulf of Thailand.
The company has begun hookup and commissioning operations and the platform is expected to be ready for operations in April. Refurbishment of an FSO is on schedule and installation on the field is expected in mid-April.
The field will be ready for development drilling in the second quarter, says Randy Bartley, CEO of Coastal Energy.
