HOUSTON -- Shell UK and Esso Exploration and Production UK want to dispose of their interests in the Corvette gas field in the UK southern North Sea, according to brokers Indigo Pool, a division of Schlumberger.

Corvette is in license P.007, block 49/24a and license P.016, block 49/23a, close to the Bacton processing terminal on the east English coast. The field has been developed by a platform, with potential for re-use in an offshore underground gas storage project.
