PARIS – Total is continuing pipelay operations on the Anguille field redevelopment project offshore Gabon.

Work started in June on the 18-in. (46-cm) gas line between Anguille and the Torpille field. The drilling rigSetty is drilling the Phase 3 project’s 21 wells from the new AGMN wellhead platform.

Another program offshore Gabon involves life extensions to the Grondin and Torpille platforms. An initial 21-day turnaround was performed in May, involving six platforms on Grondin.

A large number of valves and pipes were replaced and all the pressure vessels were inspected and repaired. Preparations have since begun for a maintenance turnaround at Torpille in late September.

During July, Total brought onstream a new well at Torpille, TENM 05.
