Noble Energy contracts subsea installation work for Gunflint

Noble Energy has signed a letter of agreement with EMAS AMC for offshore installation of pipelines, umbilicals, and ancillary equipment for the Gunflint development in the Gulf of Mexico.

SINGAPORE – Noble Energy has signed a letter of agreement with EMAS AMC for offshore installation of pipelines, umbilicals, and ancillary equipment for the Gunflint development in the Gulf of Mexico.

Gunflint is in more than 2,000 m (6,560 ft) water depth in Mississippi Canyon.

EMAS will use theLewek Constellationvessel for the offshore work, and will use its Ingleside, Texas, marine base for pipe stalking and fabrication of subsea structures.

Installation is scheduled for 2015.
