HOUSTON – Dragados Offshore has appointed KBR as subcontractor for detailed engineering on Hess’ South Arne Phase 3 project offshore Denmark.
Dragados has the EPC award to build two wellhead platform topsides with respective weights of 1,600 tons and 1,350 tons (1,763/1,488 metric tons); and the two supporting jackets, each weighing 2,600 tons (2,866 metric tons).
KBR will provide detailed engineering and procurement assistance, along with additional engineering support throughout the construction and installation phases.
Detailed engineering will be performed at KBR’s offices in Leatherhead, near London, under Dragados’ supervision of Dragados Offshore.
