Centrica contracts Hertel for Morecambe Bay maintenance

Offshore staff WINDSOR, UK – Centrica Energy (CAN:LN) has awarded Hertel a three-year contract to maintain and refurbish eight platforms in Morecambe Bay in the East Irish Sea off northwest England. These comprise manned and unmanned installations. Hertel’s scope includes refurbishment of recreational areas on the platforms and developing initiatives for further improvements to reduce unscheduled downtime and costs, while ensuring all assets remain fit for purpose.
