Pemex commissions compression plant for offshore Litoral gas

IRVING, Texas – Pemex has awarded ICA Fluor a contract to construct a gas compression system. This will serve the Dos Bocas marine terminal in Paraiso, Tabasco, on the Gulf of Mexico coast. ICA Fluor is a joint venture of Fluor Corp. and Empresas ICA.

ICA Fluor will be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up services for the electromechanical works and tie-in of the new system to connect a 77-km (48-mi), 36-in. pipeline transporting gas and crude oil from theLitoral offshore platform to the processing facilities in the marine terminal.

The project is expected to be completed in 2Q 2015.
