SINGAPORE – Trelleborg has completed the supply of floatover equipment for Petronas’ NC3 gas field in block SK316, 200 km (124 mi) north of Bintulu, Sarawak.
The contractor provided PAPE Engineering, the company responsible for transportation and installation of the platform jacket and topsides, with four leg mating units (LMUs), four sway fenders, four loadout pads, and four deck support units.
Olivier Beauclair, director for platform transportation and installation at PAPE, said: “In addition, Trelleborg site service engineers were able to provide supervised on-site support, ensuring a seamless LMU installation within the topside of the Central Processing Platform.”
The LMU installation was performed at the fabrication yard prior to the floatover process.
