Offshore staff
HOUSTON — McDermott has issued details of its two newly awarded contracts from North Oil Co., as part of the expansion of the Al-Shaheen oilfield development offshore Qatar.
The company has EPCIC responsibility for packages 11 and 13 of the Ruya development project.
Package 11, awarded to the company and Qingdao McDermott Wuchuan, covers supply and installation of nine satellite wellhead platforms and jackets in two offshore campaigns. McDermott says this contract is worth more than $1.5 billion.
Package 13, awarded to McDermott and Hyundai Heavy Industries, is for one 25,000-metric ton central processing platform, a flare platform and bridges. McDermott says this contract is worth between $500 million and $750 million.
