    JOG initiates North Sea Buchan area concept phase

    Jersey Oil & Gas has awarded contracts to Rockflow Resources and Petrofac for the concept selection phase of the Greater Buchan Area development project in the UK central North Sea.

    Offshore staff

    LONDON – Jersey Oil & Gas has awarded contracts to Rockflow Resources and Petrofac for the concept selection phase of the Greater Buchan Area development project in the UK central North Sea.

    Rockflow will provide subsurface evaluation while Petrofac will examine facilities and well support needs.

    Petrofac’s engineering and consultancy services business in Woking, near London, and its well engineering in Aberdeen will deliver an integrated concept package.

    In July, Jersey won the rights to re-develop the Buchan Area under the UK’s 31st Supplementary Offshore Licensing Round. Both contractors supported the company’s application.
