HOUSTON – Posco International Corp. has awarded McDermott International a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for the Shwe Phase 3 gas field development, 44 mi (70 km) offshore Myanmar.

The scope of work includes FEED services for a new compression platform, a bridge link, and modifications in existing platform.

McDermott will manage the program at its engineering center in Kuala Lumpur, with completion scheduled for 2Q 2020.
