LTHE to supply platforms, pipelines for Marjan expansion project

MUMBAI, IndiaSaudi Aramco has awarded L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE) and Subsea 7 subsidiary EMAS AMC a wide-ranging construction contract for the Marjan incremental development project offshore Saudi Arabia.

The scope of work includes four tie-in platforms, one tie platform module, nine production deck modules (wellhead decks), 217 km (135 mi) of subsea pipelines across 25 segments, and 145 km (90 mi) of subsea cables across 16 segments; and replacement of existing control gears at eight existing SA Offshore platforms and tie-in to existing systems.
