MELBOURNE, Australia – Development planning is progressing for the Paus Biru discovery in the Sampang production-sharing contract offshore Indonesia.
According to partner Cue Energy, new operator Medco Energi Global has presented is concept development plans which include a single well with a wellhead platform and pipeline tie-in to the Oyong field facilities.
The partners have approved pressure reduction enhancements to the compressor at the Grati onshore processing plant to allow production at reduced field pressure.
Work should be completed by early 2020.
